About the art

One of my favorite drawings to make are fruit drawings with a checkered background. If you look around here, you might notice a pattern! 

I created this artwork in the heat of summer here in Tennessee and I wanted it to have the feeling of enjoying carefree summer days. I love the complimentary red and green colors - two colors I don't normally use together but I think it works quite well here!
