About the art

This drawing is aptly titled First Blooms because it marked the beginning of my snail mail club! It's the first drawing I created for my mail club and for that reason, it will always feel special to me.

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers to draw. I love how they're made up of seemingly hundreds of tiny flowers all part of one big one. You'll notice hydrangeas in several of my other works. I don't think I'll ever tire of drawing them.
