About the art

Spring Stems was started in the fall and completed in the spring the following year. Out of all of my drawings, it undoubtedly took me the longest to finish. I wanted to abandon it at many points but looking at it now, I'm glad I didn't. It's one of my favorites!

I love the combination of patterns and the different types of flowers. The basket, while the most stressful part of it all for me, was so satisfying to see come together.
